I met Christine online in a checker room in August, 1999. We became good friends. We connected weekly for 9 years and 5 months. She and Richard visited us in Springfield, Missouri, USA November 3 through 6, 2002. We had a great time visiting places in Springfield, Branson and St. Louis. She told me then about a special man she was seeing. She told me his name was Derek and was a math teacher and preacher. Well, you know the rest of the story. Derek also became a good friend and I pray often for the men Christine left behind. It was better for us to have known her and lost her than to have never known her at all.
