The first time I spoke to Christine was the night that Simon told her he was marrying me. From that moment, til the night we lost her, she was so kind and loving towards me. She made me feel welcome in her family, and her heart, and I felt love for her immediately. I deeply regret that we were not able to spend more time together. However, in the time we did have, I called her "mum" and will always cherish those memories. I will tell our children stories about their wonderful Grandmother, and I know that she will be looking down, guiding and encouraging Simon and I in spirit as we raise our family.
