Early Years

On 30th April 1950 in Greenwich, London Christine Adams, along with her twin brother Colin, was born joining her elder sister Margaret. The family soon moved to Newport, South Wales where her father Ernest worked on the railways. In her teenage years Christine became a Christian and guided by Tom and Marje Fellows she became a member at Malpas Road Evangelical Church in Newport. Much of her knowledge of the Christian faith can be traced back to the ministry of Pastor Hugh Morgan. At the age of 20 she started work with Marks and Spencer. Working in many roles and many places she subsequently completed 34 years with M&S before taking early retirement in 2004.
